Ceramic fiber board is processed by wet vacuum forming process. The strength of this kind of product is higher than fiber blanket and vacuum forming felt. It is suitable for high temperature field where the product has the requirement of steel strength.
01 Temperature has a direct impact on the thermal conductivity of all kinds of ceramic fiberboard insulation materials. The thermal conductivity of materials increases with the increase of temperature.
02 All product insulation materials have a porous structure, easy to absorb moisture. When the moisture content is greater than 5%-10%, the moisture content of the material occupies the part of the stomatal space filled by air, causing the effective thermal conductivity to increase significantly.
03 bulk density is a direct reflection of the porosity of the material, because the thermal conductivity of the gas phase is usually less than the thermal conductivity of the solid phase, so the thermal insulation material of the product has a large porosity,which is a small bulk density. In general, increasing porosity or reducing bulk density will lead to a decrease in thermal conductivity.
04 In the insulation material of ceramic fiber board, most of the heat is conducted from the gas in the pores. Therefore, the thermal conductivity of the thermal insulation material of the product is largely determined by the type of gas filled. If helium or hydrogen is filled in cryogenic engineering, it can be regarded as first-order approximation, and the thermal conductivity of thermal insulation material is equivalent to that of these gases, because the thermal conductivity of helium and hydrogen is relatively large.
05 The specific heat capacity of the thermal insulation material for calculating the thermal insulation structure in the cooling and heating of the need for cold (or heat). At low temperatures, the specific heat capacity of all solids varies greatly.
