Thermal Insulation Structure Of Heating Mantle Ceramic Fiber Module

Mar 10, 2022

The heating hood of the hood furnace body is composed of a steel structure shell, a refractory lining and a combustion system. With the rapid development of industry and technological progress, the requirements for refractory linings are getting higher and higher, which greatly affects the comprehensive performance indicators of the heating mantle.

The traditional heating cover is lined with heat-insulating bricks and refractory bricks, which are self-heavy, large in thermal inertia, large in heat storage, large in heat dissipation, and short in service life.

Since the heating mantle is heated periodically, it is required that the refractory material has good thermal insulation performance, rapid cold and rapid heat resistance and good thermal shock resistance. Therefore, you can choose products such as light weight, low thermal conductivity, and small heat capacity ceramic fiber modules.

The lower part of the heating mantle is usually arranged with 2 or 3 rows of burners along the tangent line, with high-speed air exhaust. The ceramic fiber has poor resistance to wind erosion. Materials that can withstand air erosion and high temperature impact can be selected, such as refractory fiber composite prefabricated bricks.

Therefore, the refractory lining of the heating mantle can be installed according to the structure of the upper ceramic fiber module and the lower composite prefabricated brick. It can not only achieve the expected thermal insulation effect, but also resist the impact of high-temperature airflow. The cost is moderate, the structure is firm, and the service life and energy-saving effect are satisfactory.
