SUNTHERM Rockwool rigid insulation : Rock wool board, also known as rock wool thermal insulation decorative board, is an inorganic fiber board made of basalt as the main raw material and processed by high-temperature melting. It was successfully tested in June 1981. Rock wool board is a new type of thermal insulation, flame-proof and sound-absorbing material.

Product Highlight
1. Thermal insulation performance: good thermal insulation performance is the basic feature of rock wool and slag wool products. Under normal temperature (about 25 ℃), the thermal conductivity of rock wool is usually between 0.03 ~ 0.047w / (Mok).
2. Combustion performance: the combustion performance of rock wool and slag wool depends on the amount of combustible adhesive. Rock wool and slag wool belong to inorganic mineral fibers and are nonflammable. In the process of processing into finished products, organic binders or additives are occasionally added, which will have a positive impact on the combustion performance of finished products.
3. Sound insulation performance: the finished products of rock wool and slag wool have excellent sound insulation and absorption performance. The sound absorption mechanism is that the finished products have porous structure. When the sound wave passes through, friction occurs due to the action of flow resistance, so that part of the sound energy is absorbed by the fiber, which hinders the transmission of sound wave.
