3. Before operation, first test run under no-load state to observe whether there is any abnormal situation, then start the car formally, observe carefully, whether there is uncompressed or too tight, which will cause serious leakage or burn out the packing. The key to starting the pump is to make sure it leaks at the beginning. If the packing is initially tightened to a leak-free state, it will burn the packing and cause leakage.
After installing the packing ring, tighten the bolts and confirm that the material cover is properly engaged with the packing box face. Once you start tightening the bolts, make sure that each bolt is evenly stressed.
If an external lubrication system is used, be sure that it is functioning properly before starting.
Allows high leak rates at start-up. During this process, the packing is seated and functioning.
After running for about 15-30 minutes, tighten the bolts again until the leakage reaches the allowable range. The recommended leakage rate is 8-10 points/minute. The tetrafluoroethylene packing should allow greater flow to conduct thermal energy to reduce thermal expansion.
4. Valve start
In most cases, the valve is designed to have zero leakage. In order to achieve this requirement, the packing must be fully tightened with reference to the valve pressure.
5. Installation guide for valve packing
1. Strictly follow the installation guide for pump packing;
2. Rotate the valve bolt back and forth to ensure that it rotates freely;
3. Check the ceramic fiber folding block valve before operation. If leakage is found, make appropriate adjustments according to the relevant safety maintenance procedures and manufacturer's recommendations.
