Compared with traditional refractory brick linings or castable linings, the maintenance of ceramic fiber module linings is more convenient. This is mainly because the ceramic fiber modules are mostly installed in the form of one component, that is, a module is installed with a set of anchors and is a separate individual from the adjacent modules.

When should a module be removed or replaced?
In the actual use process, if the local heating of the ceramic fiber lining is too high, exceeding the temperature resistance level of the module, the module may gradually pulverize or even fall off. Customers and friends do not need to panic in this situation, just use a wrench to loosen the nut fixing the module, remove the module from the furnace lining, and replace it with a spare module of the same level.

Several requirements should be noted in the replacement process.

If there is a local problem, it should be replaced as soon as possible to prevent the flame from breaking into the steel plate, causing the module to fall off in a large area and causing greater losses. When removing the module, try to avoid excessive force and touch the surrounding modules.

When the module is removed, the upper and lower compensation blankets and the backing should be removed together. If the screw is over-burned, the old screw and the carpet of this range should be removed together, welded with a new spare screw, and laid with the backing blanket of the same level. After the compensation strip under the module is laid, Install the module again. After the ceramic fiber module is installed, check the periphery of the module, and the parts with gaps should be tightly packed with ceramic fiber blankets. Then spray the curing agent on the surface of the module, and it can be put into use after drying.

The service life of the ceramic fiber lining can be up to 5 years, and the service life is shorter for the environment with air erosion or wear. When the module appears pulverized, it is recommended that the user stop the furnace and replace it in large quantities.

During the use of the ceramic fiber module furnace lining, the surface of the module can be sprayed with curing agent for maintenance to prolong the service life of the module.
