To evaluate the thermal insulation performance of ceramic fiberboard, we should start from the following aspects:

Thermal conductivity: It is a parameter that reflects the thermal conductivity and thermal conductivity of fiber composite materials, and is its main thermal physical property index. At 600°C, the thermal conductivity of the ceramic fiberboard is only 0.145W/(M.K).

Capacity: Each insulation material has a reasonable bulk density, the lower the thermal conductivity, the better the insulation effect. In order to save energy and reduce the load of thermal insulation structures, thermal insulation materials with low bulk density should be selected as far as possible. The allowable weight of the ceramic fiber board is 280kg/m3, which is 1/4 of the lightweight refractory material. Here is a good example.

Working temperature: refers to the extreme temperature at which the insulating material can work safely and reliably for a long time. The long-term use temperature of porcelain fiberboard is between 850 and 1300 degrees, and it is a high-temperature resistant product, except for mullite fiber.

Compressive strength: Ceramic fiberboard is a semi-rigid insulating material that will not be damaged under pressure.

Linear expansion coefficient: When the linear expansion coefficient of the thermal insulation material is large, the internal heating will generate a large stress, thereby destroying the thermal insulation structure. different from tradition.

Insulation material, ceramic fiber board will not expand when heated, no need to reserve expansion joints, and will not be squeezed during installation.

Chemical properties: Different use environments have very good requirements on the chemical stability of thermal insulation materials. Acid resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, ceramic fiberboard has outstanding performance in this regard.
