Compared with ceramic fiber blankets, ceramic fiber boards are hard refractory materials with high density, high strength, and resistance to airflow. The surface fibers are not easy to peel off and can directly contact the flame, mainly used as flame baffles and furnace temperature zones where fiber blankets are not competent.
Compared with refractory bricks, the outstanding feature of ceramic fiber board is its light weight, and its weight is only 1/7 of that of refractory bricks, which effectively relieves the load-bearing capacity of the furnace body. Moreover, traditional refractory bricks have poor resistance to rapid cold and rapid heating and are prone to cracking. This phenomenon does not exist for ceramic fiber board with excellent thermal stability.
