The service temperature and service life of ceramic fiber are closely related to its service conditions (kiln atmosphere, composition and content of corrosive substances, etc.):
(1) Ceramic fiber is used under the operating temperature conditions of the promise, the crystal growth is slow, the essence of the fiber is relatively stable, and the life span can reach 5-10 years under the condition of no external force collision in the oxidizing atmosphere.
(2) For the recovery of furnace gas, fiber with high-purity combined materials as raw materials should be used as the raw material of the industrial kiln wall lining, and the surface of the ceramic fiber wall lining should be sprayed with anticorrosive coating to improve the chemical stability of the fiber lining. Anti-wind erosion function reduces heating shrinkage.
(3) The operating temperature of ceramic fiber should be determined according to the type of fuel used in the kiln (gas, oil, coal), kiln atmosphere, and the composition of corrosive substances in the kiln atmosphere:
A. The operating temperature in the recovery atmosphere is 100 to 150°C lower than that in the oxidizing atmosphere.
B. The operating temperature of the ceramic fiber wall lining of the fuel oil industrial kiln should be 150~200℃ lower than that of the electrical heating industrial kiln fiber wall lining.
C. The operating temperature under vacuum atmosphere is 200~250℃ lower than that under oxidizing atmosphere.
