Ceramic fiber paper and ceramic fiber cloth are fire-resistant and thermal insulation materials, which can be used for thermal insulation. How can we better distinguish ceramic fiber paper and ceramic fiber cloth? According to the accumulation and experience, we can distinguish them in the following aspects:
1. Appearance. Ceramic fiber cloth has obvious grid shape, while ceramic fiber paper has little or no grid shape.
2. Density. The density of ceramic fiber paper is higher than that of ceramic fiber cloth.
3. Thickness. The thinnest ceramic fiber paper can be 0.5mm. Ceramic fiber cloth can't be that thin. Generally, the thinnest is 2mm.
4. Stand up. Ceramic fiber paper can be put on the mold and stand up like A4 paper in our life. Ceramic fiber cloth is like the cloth used in our life. It is very soft and does not stand upright.
5. Tear resistance. The toughness of ceramic fiber paper is not as good as that of ceramic fiber cloth.
