Energy Saving And Consumption Reduction Of Ceramic Fiber Modules

Ceramic fiber modules are installed on the kiln wall and on the kiln roof, so that the thermal conductivity in the kiln is reduced, and the heat will not be lost, so that the heat source can be effectively recycled, and the function of energy saving and consumption reduction can be achieved.

The heat transfer of the full-fiber modular furnace lining mainly includes two types: steady state heat transfer and non-steady state heat transfer.

Steady state heat transfer

Steady-state heat transfer is mainly based on the insulation of the furnace wall. The thermal conductivity of the ceramic fiber lining is small, and the heat passage is blocked, so that the heat is kept inside the furnace as much as possible, thereby reducing heat loss.

Unsteady state heat transfer

Intermittent heating furnaces belong to the category of non-steady state heat transfer. Frequent heating and cooling are mostly spent on heating furnace walls, and the low heat storage capacity of the full fiber lining greatly shortens the heating and cooling time of the furnace and saves a lot of money, fuel consumption.

Energy saving and consumption reduction effect of ceramic fiber modules

a. When used as a kiln wall lining in a high-temperature kiln, the surface temperature of the furnace body will drop, providing a good environment for workers to work safely; the internal temperature heat loss will be reduced, the temperature difference of each zone will be reduced, the temperature will be stable, and the product quality will be improved.

b. The reduction of heat loss reduces fuel energy consumption and reduces production costs, and at the same time, heat balance increases production capacity simultaneously.

c. The good thermal sensitivity of the ceramic fiber module furnace lining makes the heating speed faster and the heating time of the billet and other products shortened, thereby reducing the oxidation burning loss of the product.

d. The ceramic fiber module is resistant to rapid cooling and rapid heating, and will not shrink or crack the furnace lining due to opening and closing of the furnace. Compared with refractory bricks and castables, its service life is longer.
