The production process of rock wool board is to first put the basalt slag into a high-temperature furnace to fully melt it, then centrifuge it at high speed, and then use a blower to cool it into shape. At the same time, it sprays water-increasing agent, binder, and adhesive to finalize the shape. It is used after the shaping is completed. The pendulum method increases its hardness and density, and then it is dried at high temperature and cut to obtain rock wool boards.
There are many equipments used in the rock wool board production line, including automatic batching machines, control cabinets, loading machines, furnace racks, cupolas, high-speed centrifuges, fans, cotton collectors, etc. Among them, the cotton collector is a device used to collect and process rock wool fibers on the rock wool board production line.
Its working principle is to use mechanical force to collect the rock wool fibers thrown out by the high-speed centrifugal spinning machine, and then compress and solidify them to form a rock wool board with a certain hardness and density.
