Ceramic Fiber Module Insulation Scheme For Hot Dip Galvanized Furnace

Hot dip galvanizing technology is a high energy consumption production process. As our country advocates the pace of energy saving, the energy preservation work in hot dip galvanizing industry is particularly key. In continuous hot-dip galvanizing production line, hot-dip galvanizing annealing furnace accounts for 60 to 70 percent of the total energy consumption. So the thermal insulation of hot-dip galvanized annealing furnace is the use of ceramic fiber products.

 

The continuous hot-dip galvanized annealing furnace is used as a prelude to the galvanized pot. It is mainly divided into heating section, soaking section, and fast cooling section.

 

01 Heating section

In the heating section mainly for the iron plate REDOX treatment surface work, most of the gas radiation tube heating. When the temperature is less than 1000℃, the side wall and top wall of this temperature section are mainly made of standard ceramic fiber modules, and calcium silicate plate is added to the bottom of the furnace for the firebrick.

 

02 Soaking zone

In the soaking section, it is mainly heated by resistance wire, without open flame. The bottom of the furnace in this temperature section is also laid with firebrick, making grooves for laying resistance wires. The side walls and top walls are mainly installed with ceramic fiber modules.

 

03 Rapid cooling section

In the quick-cooling section, this temperature section is the end of the iron plate entering the zinc pot, which requires rapid cooling to below 560℃. In this temperature section, a high-speed fan blows the iron plate, so the heat preservation requirements in this temperature section are relatively detailed. The wall and top of the furnace are insulated with ceramic fiber blanket, and the bottom of the furnace is paved with calcium silicate plate. Then the furnace should be laid with a layer of unrepaired steel plate. The wind speed is high in this temperature section, so lay a layer of steel plate to prevent the fibers from flying and sticking to the steel plate. It also effectively protects the integrity of the insulation material. The treatment of the furnace cover of the rapid cooling section should also be fully sealed with thermal insulation cotton and stainless steel plate.
