Ceramic Fiber Insulation For Waste Gas Incinerator

Aug 17, 2022

Brief introduction of waste gas incinerator

Exhaust gas incinerator, also called RTO furnace, is a device that burns and decomposes harmful gases. The equipment utilizes the heat generated by the combustion of the auxiliary fuel to raise the temperature of the combustible harmful gas to the reaction temperature, and oxidative decomposition occurs, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing harmful gas emissions.

With the continuous improvement of incineration technology, waste gas incinerators are also developing towards resource utilization. Using the waste heat generated by incineration to generate electricity and produce superheated steam can not only solve the demand for electricity and gas, but also save energy, realize energy reuse, and promote sustainable economic growth.

Ceramic fiber insulation of waste gas incinerator

The thermal insulation of the waste gas incinerator (RTO) has changed from the traditional casting structure to the light-weight and energy-saving refractory cotton lining, which is what we call the ceramic fiber module composite structure. Take a regular RTO project as an example:

Thermal insulation project type: Regenerative waste gas incinerator (RTO)

Furnace size: length 6.42 meters, width 1.74 meters, height 4.325 meters

Furnace temperature: the maximum temperature of the upper combustion chamber is 850℃, and the maximum temperature of the lower regenerator is about 750℃.

Problems to be solved: ceramic fiber thermal insulation materials are used, and the temperature of the outer wall of the siding shall not be higher than 60℃ after thermal insulation, so as to ensure high energy saving and long life of the thermal insulation lining.
