In terms of furnace lining structure, ceramic fiber blankets or modular furnace linings, and composite structure furnace linings composed of ceramic fiber blankets and modules are the best.
01 Filling and sealing material
The expansion joints of the kiln, the gaps of metal parts, the holes of the rotating parts of the two ends of the roller kiln, the joints of the ceiling kiln, the kiln car and the joints can be filled or sealed with ceramic fiber loose cotton.
02 Outer insulation material
Ceramic kilns mostly use ceramic loose cotton or ceramic fiber boards as thermal insulation materials, which can reduce the thickness of the kiln wall and reduce the surface temperature of the kiln wall; the fiber itself is elastic and filling, which can relieve the thermal stress of brick wall expansion and improve the furnace gas. Fiber heat capacity is small, which is helpful for rapid sintering.
03 Lining material
According to the different temperature requirements in the operating range, choosing the appropriate ceramic fiber as the lining material has the following advantages: the thickness of the kiln wall is reduced, the weight is reduced, the heating rate of the kiln especially the batch kiln is accelerated, the kiln masonry material is saved, and the cost is reduced. Save kiln time, put into production quickly; prolong the service life of the outer layer of masonry.
04 Used in full fiber kilns
Both the kiln wall and the furnace lining are made of ceramic fibers. The heat storage of fiber lining is only 1/10~1/30 of that of brick lining, and its weight is 1/10~1/20. The weight of the furnace body can be reduced, the structural cost can be reduced, and the firing speed can be accelerated.
