Product Introduction

SUNTHERM offers a fully automated raw material plant/batch plant that loads raw materials into the furnace in the correct quantities, proportions, sizes and blends. SUNTHERM recommends furnaces: electric and coke furnaces

The lava produced at the correct temperature and viscosity is processed by a spinning machine, known as a fibrillator, which is equipped with four high-speed spinning wheels and an advanced adhesive distribution system. The spinning machine is designed to produce fibers with the required size, thickness and particle content for high-quality rockwool products.

The resulting fibers are collected in a drum type fiber collection chamber, which is equipped with a high-pressure water cleaning system (automatic), a mesh drying system and a particle separation system. The fiber collection chamber is connected to a well-designed suction system for more efficient pumping and minimizes fiber waste.

The collected fibers are distributed on the mineral wool production line by a pendulum, and transported to a curler to obtain fiber orientation, and then into an efficient and well-insulated curing furnace to solidify the adhesive and form a rockwool product. Thickness and density.

After the product leaves the curing furnace, it is cooled and cut lengthwise by a longitudinal cutting machine equipped with a dust-free pan, thus reducing material waste and dust. Then the rock wool product is cut laterally into a certain length by a high-precision crosscutting machine. The machine cuts the product in flight (flight cutter) and performs a clean cut.

The produced sheets are transported to the rock wool piler, where the sheets are packed by the rock wool packaging machine.

MATS are either delivered to a suture line equipped with a state-of-the-art stitching machine, or directly into a winder that automatically rolls and wraps the mat without any human intervention.

Integrated rockwool production process technology, through advanced equipment and process automation system, applied to every production line.

All gases produced during the melting and curing process are collected and transported to the exhaust gas purification system, where dust particles are collected and stored safely, and pollutants are reduced to permitted levels in accordance with the strictest emission regulations.
