Ceramic fiber blanket has a lot of advantages, such as its temperature resistance, reliability and so on, in the case of application, not only can more strongly assist the application of the overall working procedure, but also can be beneficial to further improve the efficiency of the application and save more energy.
Good high temperature resistance
The thermal conductivity in the high temperature area is not large, with good thermal insulation practical effect. At 1000℃, its thermal conductivity is only 15% of refractory clay brick and about 38% of light clay brick, but its thermal conductivity has a great relationship with temperature, bulk density, slag ball content and fiber diameter.

Its bulk density is generally between 90~220Kg/m3, which is only equivalent to 1/5~1/3 of light firebrick.
Good thermal stability
Because ceramic fiber blanket has extensibility and is a longer chemical fiber, it will not cause tectonic stress even if the temperature changes greatly. Moreover, its crafts are porous materials with intrinsic links of chemical fibers, and the increase of a single chemical fiber can be digested and absorbed by the crafts themselves. Therefore, with appropriate construction technology, we can obtain sufficient strength and cold and heat resistance.
Good chemical stability
In addition to strong acid, hydrochloric acid, almost free from other chemicals corrosion. Ceramic fiber blanket has good organic chemical reliability in air oxidation and neutralization atmosphere. The relativity of organic chemical reliability of alkaline earth metal oxides and sulfates is weak, and crystallization is easy to occur, which leads to deterioration of fiber properties. Its chemical stability depends mainly on its chemical composition and the content of impurities. The following table lists the organic chemical reliability of three different components. It can be seen from the table that the organic chemical reliability of pure Al2O3 chemical fiber is good, while the damage to the organic chemical reliability is not great when SiO2 fluctuates within the range of 50~60%.
