Method For Oxidizing Ceramic Fiber Board

Dec 03, 2021

Because of its good performance, ceramic fiber board is widely used in many fields of thermal insulation, so it is necessary to carry out certain oxidation treatment when processing the board to improve the product performance of the board. So, what is the method of oxidation in ceramic fiber board? Below, let Xiaobian explain it in detail for everyone.

1.Surface pretreatment: Clean the surface of ceramic fiber board by chemical or physical methods to expose a pure substrate, so as to obtain a complete and dense artificial oxide film, or obtain a mirror or matte surface by mechanical means.

2. Anodizing: After surface pretreatment of ceramic fiber board under certain technological conditions, anodizing treatment is carried out on the surface of the substrate to form a dense, porous and strongly adsorbed AL203 film.

3. Sealing: The pores of the porous oxide film produced after anodic oxidation are sealed, and the anti-pollution, anti-corrosion and wear-resistant properties of the ceramic fiber board oxide film are enhanced. By using the strong adsorption of the oxide film before hole sealing, some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the film holes, which can make the appearance of profiles show many colors different from their natural colors, such as black, bronze, golden yellow, stainless steel, etc.

Ceramic fiber board is aluminum silicate fiber board, a board made of refractory material. Even after heating, the product maintains good mechanical strength. Compared with fiber blankets and felts, the product is a fiber insulation product with rigidity and supporting strength. The main raw materials are flint clay and alumina powder.

The blowing fiber is used as the raw material of ceramic fiber board, and a certain proportion of binder and filler-grade auxiliary agent are added, which are fully dispersed into pulp in a pulp mixing tank after beating. Pumped into the forming pool, stirred with compressed air. The mold is put into the forming pool, and the fiber slurry is adsorbed on the mold by the principle of vacuumizing. Accurate control of adsorption time, vacuum dehydration of wet fiber materials, demoulding, placing on a tray, and drying in a drying furnace for 10-24 hours. After the fiberboard is dried, it passes through a special grinder and edge trimmer, and its size is accurately controlled.
