Product Description:

SUNTHERM ALWOOL polycrystalline alumina fiber cloth is a soft, high-temperature-resistant textile woven from polycrystalline alumina fiber yarn. It is primarily used for high-temperature pipe wrapping, kiln linings, high-temperature filtration in chemical and heavy industries, flame-retardant fire curtains, protective clothing, and other applications. Capable of long-term use under extreme conditions such as temperatures between 600 ℃ and 700 ℃ and corrosive gas environments, it is widely employed in chemical, heavy industrial, and related production fields.

Polycrystalline alumina fibers, composed mainly of alumina and silica, are produced using the internationally advanced "sol-gel" method. They withstand temperatures up to 1300 ℃ and offer excellent resistance to acids and alkalis, electrical insulation, and flexibility. Typically white in appearance with a diameter of 5.5–7.5 μm, this material is stable and environmentally friendly.
