Product Description:

SUNTHERM ALWOOL polycrystalline alumina fiber cloth is a soft, heat-resistant fabric woven from polycrystalline alumina fiber yarn. It is ideally suited for high-temperature pipe wrapping, kiln linings, industrial filtration in chemical and heavy industries, flame-retardant curtains, protective clothing, and similar applications. The cloth maintains long-term stability under extreme conditions,making it widely used in chemical processing, heavy industry, and related production sectors.

The polycrystalline alumina fibers-composed primarily of alumina and silica-are manufactured using the internationally recognized sol-gel method. These fibers offer excellent acid and alkali resistance, electrical insulation, and mechanical flexibility, with a maximum service temperature of 1300 °C. Typically white in appearance and featuring a fiber diameter of 5.5–7.5 μm, the material is stable, environmentally friendly, and safe for industrial use.
