Product Description

1600°C Resistant Alumina Polycrystalline Fiber Board is a high-temperature insulation board primarily composed of polycrystalline alumina fiber, complemented by inorganic binders and special additives. It is manufactured through processes such as wet vacuum filtration, extrusion, drying, and finishing. Utilizing an advanced sol-gel process, soluble aluminum salts are first converted into a colloidal solution, which is then high-speed centrifuged to form fiber preforms. These preforms undergo dehydration, drying, and medium-to-high temperature heat treatment to achieve crystallization. The main crystalline phase is α-Al₂O₃ (corundum), with a minor amount of mullite, achieving a chemical purity of 95% to 99% or higher. The product is pure white and combines the high-temperature stability of crystalline ceramics with the superior thermal insulation of fibrous materials, allowing stable, long-term operation in extreme high-temperature environments up to 1600°C.

Ultra-High Temperature Stability: The polycrystalline microcrystalline structure ensures phase stability at elevated temperatures, allowing continuous long-term use at 1500–1600°C with excellent high-temperature creep resistance.

Superior Thermal Insulation & Energy Savings: Low heat capacity and low thermal conductivity result in minimal heat storage, significantly reducing heat loss. Compared to traditional refractory bricks, energy savings of 15–45% can be achieved, substantially lowering kiln operating costs.

Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance: The board withstands rapid heating and cooling cycles without cracking or spalling, making it especially suitable for intermittent kilns.

Strong Resistance to Airflow Erosion: Capable of direct contact with flames and high-velocity airflow, the product exhibits outstanding erosion resistance, maintaining structural integrity even under harsh conditions with airflow velocities up to 90 m/s.

Good Chemical Stability: Excellent resistance to both acid and alkali corrosion allows use in a variety of atmospheres, including acidic, oxidizing, reducing, and vacuum conditions.

Easy to Process: As a non-brittle material with good flexibility, the board is easy to cut, drill, and mill. It can be fabricated into various irregular shapes and precision-sized parts, and is convenient for installation and on-site construction.

Green & Environmentally Friendly: The product contains no asbestos or other hazardous substances, and releases no toxic gases during high-temperature use, fully complying with modern green manufacturing standards.
