These panels are made of aluminum silicate fibers that can withstand extremely high temperatures, providing effective insulation properties while resisting thermal damage.

Thermal Insulation Industry Ceramic Fiber Board is made of high purity aluminum silicate fiber and inorganic adhesive. Fibers give the sheet low thermal conductivity, while adhesives provide structural rigidity. The board is lightweight and insulates at temperatures up to 2,300°F.

The most common type is 1260C ceramic fiberboard. 1260°C indicates the maximum temperature limit. The fiber pad can withstand continuous operating temperatures of 1260°C without losing structural integrity. This makes the 1260°C plate suitable for the insulation of furnaces, ovens, kilns, boilers and other thermal equipment.
