Product introduction

For applications requiring elastic, lightweight, highly flexible and dielectric high temperature insulation, Suntherm offers ceramic fiber paper under the Suntherm brand. 1260C Ceramic fiber Insulation Paper Sheet performs in applications up to 1,260°C, tolerates most chemicals, and has low thermal conductivity, low heat storage and excellent compression recovery.

 

All grades of SUNTHERM ceramic fiber paper are made of chemically pure fibers, which allows our SUNTHERM to withstand oxidation and reduction. In addition, if the material accidentally comes into contact with water, steam or oil, the thermal and physical properties will recover after drying.

 

Standard grade SUNTHERM is made from highly washed, spun, high-purity aluminum-silicon fibers that are exposed to organic adhesives, resulting in increased operating strength at room temperature. SUNTHERM is also available in binderless construction, allowing it to be used in applications where temperatures may be as high as 1650°C and where protection from carbon buildup or surface discoloration is required.
