Ceramic fiber blankets are often considered for high temperature refractory applications, and it does offer significant benefits for industrial insulators. Ceramic fibers are composed of long, flexible interwoven fibers that produce strong, lightweight and durable blankets for applications in the 1,000°F to 2,696°F temperature range.

It has the heat resistance of hard refractory materials, giving it excellent insulation values and is an effective solution for a variety of heat treatment applications. The material is easy to install and requires no curing or drying time. All ceramic fiber blankets allow for rapid heating. Fiber blankets do not crack or flake and are resistant to impact. Compared with other hard refractory products, this product can save energy, reduce heat loss and heat storage. One of the biggest advantages is that it can be up to two inches thick.
